I was recently challenged by a fellow blogger and homeschool mama to take part in her 12 week "Get Healthy" series. At first I was extremely hesitant because of my health issues. (you can read about them in this older post Good "Grief")
I was afraid of public failure because I feel like my hands are tied on having enough physical activity to lose weight. Some-days it has been a struggle just to make it out of bed and through my day without having unbearable pain. However, I do realize that there are things that I can control to improve my health.
To me Health is a complete package of mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well being. It is not just reflected by a single number or measurement. It is an all or nothing approach. Our balance is then reflected in how feel, act and yes that little number on the scale we don't talk about! haha
So my 12 weeks goals are to find the little things that I can do to better my health, quality of life and overall balance! In my college studies I remember on professor saying that it takes 30 days to make or break a habit. We are giving ourselves 84 days to lose some bad habits and gain some good! Each week I will tackle one bad habit and attempt to replace it with a contrasting good habit! Join me in my journey to "Get Healthy" in 12 weeks! About Me:
I am a working stay at home mom! I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 6 years. We have three beautiful daughters Audrey, Alyssa & Ashlee. I homeschool them as well as run a small in-home childcare where I have four more little ones. We live on a small but growing farm and love it. I love Jesus and work to spread His love to all that I meet!
