Week one results are 15 lbs down but that is not an accurate measure due to the fact that I have spent most of the week hovering over anything that I can throw up into. One of the "side effects" of auto immune is that when you get sick, you get sick fast.
I just returned home from being sent to the ER for fluids and more testing to try and figure out what is going on. I am feeling a little better now that I am not severely dehydrated. Something that is just a reinsurance that I must do a better job of staying on top of my hydration level. I know that it would not have happened so fast if I was going into the illness with adequate H2O intake.
As far as the rest of my week, I did break down and have one "stress" soda but did not let it derail the rest of my day.
This weeks goal was going to be controlling portion size but since I haven't eaten anything in many days I think that I will save it for next week! So this week I am focusing on staying alive haha! But really just recuperating. This is just an example of the fact that once in awhile things will happen outside your control and that you don't have to let it change your attitude or outlook on the process!

I am so sorry that you've been so sick! praying for you - I so know what you mean about the auto immune - I don't get sick often (I choose to support my immune system instead of shutting it down) but when i do get sick - I get really sick really really - praying for you
